- Adapter acts as a battery eliminator and allows a Zebra RS5100 / Zebra RS6100 to be powered directly from a Zebra WT6000 or Zebra WT6300 Wearable Computer.
- May provide simpler back room operations by not requiring separate battery charging hardware for the Zebra RS5100 / Zebra RS6100. May also prevent loss/misplacement of RS6100 by having it tethered to the WT6X.
- Adapter only provides power to scanner. Scanner communicates to the Zebra WT6X device via Bluetooth.
